The trip to headquarters is uneventful, and as soon as you arrive, they take Steve and Natasha away to medical for treatment. (You’ll never get over the way they just go, like they don’t even mind being cooped up in a white, windowless box with doctors and tubes and mind-altering drugs or whatever they do there, you don’t know, it’s not like you go to medical.)
You reconnect with Bruce, who was airlifted out earlier. He’s relieved to see that you’re all back and okay (at least, for some special Avengers definition of ‘okay,’), but it doesn’t last long, because then Director Fury comes up behind you, and you start to mentally go over the mission in your head at super-speed to see where you went wrong.
“Congratulations, Barton,” he says drily, and hey, maybe you didn’t go wrong.
If you thank Director Fury, turn to page 165.
If you make some kind of smartass comment about mission planning or the fact that he sent Agent Supernanny in there after you, because let’s face it, you’re Clint Barton and smartass is what you do, turn to page 166.
