It’s not long before you’re all gathered at the extraction point. Tony is supporting Steve, with Coulson’s help; you and Agent Hill are helping Natasha.
When the comms
chime, you respond, expecting Langkowski, but what you get instead is Director Fury, radioing in the are-you-okay and
report-back-to-me and I-swear-by-all-that-is-good-and-holy-Mr.-Stark-if-my
-agents-are-not-intact, and
then when he finally gets done with all of that, he tells you that there’s
transport on the way.
It arrives minutes later. There was probably supposed to be more of a gap, but Fury got distracted chewing Tony out for something one of his robots apparently did while you’ve been away, so the echoes of his voice over the comms have barely faded before you hear the sound of the chopper in the distance.
