It’s a wrench, but you finally opt to go with Tony and Coulson. You know it’s your job to go where you can be most useful, and you’re betting it’s going to be with them.
Tony has the faceplate on the Iron Man suit up and he’s giving you and Coulson a sheepish look. “I, uh, I have a, a tracer on Steve’s shield,” he admits, and Coulson gives him a look that says about a dozen different things, none of them entirely favourable.
“We’ll have a discussion about invasion of privacy later,” he says wearily, “but for now, since you’ve already done it, make it worthwhile.”
Tony nods, locks Coulson in one arm and you in the other, and proceeds to do a (slow, laborious; the armour isn’t meant to carry one, let alone two) transport flight across the compound to the control tower, and to the Hydra trucks outside it where he says he thinks they’ve got Steve.
