S.H.I.E.L.D.’s solution to “I need backup” is to drop a scattering of zipline troopers off a helicopter to serve as said backup. You think it’s a little ostentatious (as you stand there, dust-covered and leaning on Natasha’s shoulder for support), but they get the job done and you don’t have to draw your bow (not that you could anyway, not with your side in the shape it’s in).

Together, you get back to the extraction point, and they defend you (it’s kind of nice, for once, to be the one being defended, reminiscent of when black uniforms and guns and riot shields actually meant something) until everyone is airlifted away.
