You rarely disagree with Natasha, but this time, you think Steve may have a point (and you love disagreeing with Tony). “I think we should go to the extraction point,” you say. “It’s not like the other guys have called for help or anything.”

“They’ll radio if they need assistance,” Steve agrees gratefully, and Tony grumbles and rolls his eyes at you because he was counting on you to go against authority.

Natasha thins her lips to a grim line, but says nothing, because she knows how to obey a direct order when it’s given. This one hasn’t exactly been given yet, but it’s a done deal at this point.

You climb back into the S.H.I.E.L.D. hovercar (all but Tony, who is still nursing a grudge and opts to fly just out of earshot under his own steam) and make your way to the extraction point to wait for your teammates or further orders.
