           You arrive at the helicopter a little later than the other Avengers, so they're all assembled and ready by the time you get there. Coulson is doing the briefing, and when he spots you, he turns a little to include you.

The site of engagement is a Hydra cell block in a godforsaken dirt-hole patch of land in some state somewhere (you don't really care enough to catch the name). The point is, there are going to be lots of bad guys to shoot, which works for you.

So much for vacation.

You settle in next to Thor for the helicopter ride, and he gives you a blindingly sunny smile and announces (Thor never says stuff, he always announces it) his pleasure that you'll be accompanying them on this mission.  You give him a nod, buckle up, and start trying to find the quiet place inside you that lets you do what you do when you work.
